A lot of us balk at the thought of hiring a dating coach. It just seems like something we should be able to do well on our own, doesn’t it? Hiring someone to help can feel like publicly admitting that you’re not attractive to other people. But that’s totally not the case at all, and it’s not what a dating coach does.
A good dating coach doesn’t help you attract people. A good coach helps you:
1) Stop rejecting the right people.
2) Stop pursuing the wrong people.
3) Stop accidentally turning away the right people.
4) Stop getting entangled with the wrong people.
5) Start searching for the right people, in the right places.
These are “Oh, sh*t!” realizations that your friends may have been making all along, just not to the tune of 100 bucks an hour. (Actually, I charge $250, so your friend is probably a great deal).
In fact, I suggest you sit down one or two of your closest, smartest friends and ask them point-blank:
“What do you think of the type of people I go for?”
“What did you think of my last ex?”
“Who do you think I’d make a good couple with?”
